Tunstead & Sco Ruston

Welcome to the Tunstead & Sco Ruston Community Web.

The website is a communication initiative established by Tunstead & Sco Ruston Parish Plan Steering Group following a village-wide questionnaire. Along with other valuable initiatives the website represents a fresh new era in which residents guide the amenities and facilities in these Norfolk villages. Where we find the parish lacking, we can influence the Parish Plan and collectively seek the changes and improvements we need.

The Parish Plan and its Steering Group is not a Tunstead Parish Council activity but will be constituted and guided entirely by village residents. The Tunstead Parish Council is supportive of the initiative and is enthusiastic to help, such help being vital to the success of the Group and the Plan. The Steering Group is fortunate to include two Parish Councillors in its membership, both of whom bring vital expertise and rolled-up sleeves.

The website will provide progress reports from the various Parish Plan Focus Groups, a discussion forum so that everyone can have their say, a means to make contact. Ultimately it will display the Tunstead & Sco Ruston Parish Plan, too - when we have all made our contribution to its goals and the best ways to achieve them.
